Built in 2008 as a sculpture garden, with an ‘earthwork sculpture’ as a central feature.

       The garden was specifically designed, as a space in which to exhibit outdoor sculpture for a private gallery in Lelant, St.Ives, Cornwall.

       The design space incorporated a desire to create a peaceful, natural space that helps connects people to nature. By adding a central table, the sculpture also served as a perfect setting for outdoor dinner parties.

       The earthworks were shaped by hand and the planting was designed to compliment a changing sculpture exhibition. Plants were chosen for either architectural form or with movement in mind.      

       Various niches and corners were created to exhibit sculptures using glass screens and walls as colourful backdrops. The top of the earthwork is also has a wonderful view of Lelant estuary saltings.
